Volume 4, Issue 4 (April 2017)
One of the most recognized television and film actors of all time, Henry Winkler captured America’s heart and tickled its funny bone as Arthur Fonzarelli on the 1970s hit show Happy Days. Today, Henry is bringing happy days to young readers with his Hank Zipzer book series, which follows a young student who faces learning challenges. The stories in the series are largely based on Henry’s own real-life experiences in the classroom and his struggles with dyslexia. Henry’s message to kids is clear: “If you can imagine it, you can do it.” Now that is cool.
Also in this issue, interviews with ABC News travel and lifestyle editor Genevieve Shaw Brown, actor Matty Cardarople, and authors Justine Danielle Del Monte, Mike Malbrough, and Roxy Morgan.
Our special contributors this month are Noelle Sterne, Ph.D., who tells us how she became a serendipitous children’s author, and Christy Olson, who has created a fun poetry curriculum guide that you’ll want to try!
