We are now accepting entries for the 2024 Purple Dragonfly Book Award Contest.
Our book award contest exclusively for children’s books! We accept printed books, audiobooks, and eBooks. With 59 categories to choose from, winning a coveted Purple Dragonfly Book Award helps authors and illustrators alike garner instant credibility, attention from the media, and an opportunity to increase book sales. Even better, when children and parents see a Purple Dragonfly seal on your book's cover, they will know that they are reading a highly acclaimed publication.
Contest entries accepted in 3 formats: printed book, audiobook, or ebook.
Instructions: The quantity indicates the number of categories entering for one book.
If submitting more than one book, you must enter the quantity of categories and complete the form for each book. Submission fee is per category.
Example: entering 1 book, with 3 different categories:

AUDIOBOOK ENTRIES:
Email one (1) copy of each audiobook for each category in which it is entered. Along with the audiobook, attach one (1) copy of the email confirmation per title for each category in which the ebook is entered. You may also upload your audiobook file to a google drive and email the secure link.
All audiobook entries emailed to contests@storymonsters.com.

EARLY BIRD PRICING!
BOOKS: $70 per category for submissions completed on or before March 1, 2024.
After March 1, 2024, the fee is $75 per category.
ebooks: $65 per category for submissions completed on or before March 1, 2024.
After March 1, 2024, the fee is $70 per category.
All Submissions:
Please complete the form on the next screen in its entirety. No materials will be returned. To be eligible, submissions must be postmarked by May 2, 2024 or earlier. Submissions postmarked after that date will not be considered for an award and books will not be returned; however, your entry fee will be refunded. Top award winners will be notified by email the last week of June 2024.
